Mrs. Nannie Koon
Mrs. Nannie Spires Koon, 48, of 3650 Humphrey Dr. died Wednesday in a Columbia hospital.
She was born in Lexington County and had lived in Columbia for a number of years. She was a member of the Red Bank Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Gary H. Koon of Columbia; one daughter, Mrs. Linda Etheridge of West Columbia, three sons, Carol Spires Jr. and David Spires of Columbia and William E. Spires of the U. S. Navy; two sisters, Mrs. Jessamine Taylor of Red Bank and Mrs. Effie Rish of Lexington, and two brothers, R. W. Taylor and Daniel Taylor, both of Elgin.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Thompson Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. M. D. Cline and Rev. a. L. Woods. Burial will be in the Union Baptist Churchyard at Elgin.
