Our dearest, wonderful mother, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother Catherine Alice Llewelyn Ockey passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2001 of natural causes.
Born July 15, 1908 in Scofield, Carbon Co., Utah, to Evan John Llewelyn and Charlotte Emma Edmunds. Married Horace Rupert Ockey Sept. 17, 1928 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Catherine is the beloved mother of nine children.
She is survived by daughters, Joyce (Val) Baker, Fern (Thomas) Booth, Darlene (Ron) Anderson and Bonnie (Jack) Ford. Preceded in death by, husband, Horace and sons, Horace, Jr., Kenneth and Ross. Daughters, Charlotte and Jeannine. She has 28 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren, 27 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 22, 2001 at 11 a.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Road. A viewing will be one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Redwood Memorial Estates.
