Born March 3, 1913, in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of A.W. Koskie Whisnant and Myrtle Virginia Hunt Whisnant.
She was a homemaker and member of Polkville United Methodist Church and former Sunday school teacher.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandchild, Carla Carpenter.
She is survived by her husband, two sons, two daughters, four grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Burial: Lee's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
