Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mr. Harvey W. Holdiness, III, 79, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, October 12, 2018 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Michael Wood and Rev. Keith McVay officiating. Interment will follow in the Northeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Rayville, LA.

Harvey was born on July 4, 1939 in Monroe, LA and passed away on October 8, 2018 in Monroe, LA. He proudly served in the United States Navy. He worked for the IBEW Local 446 for over 50 years and was a member of the American Legion Post 13.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey W. Holdiness, Jr. and Mabel Holdiness; sister, Peggy Carroll; brother, Jerry Holdiness; and step-son, Joshua Calhoun.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Janice Holdiness; daughter, Angela Parkinson and husband Marc; granddaughter, Glenda Parkinson; step-daughter, Cherie Roark; step-grandson, Aiden Calhoun; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
