Mrs. Holdiness was a retired nurse. She loved to travel with her husband in their motor home. She was a Saints football fan and a baseball fan.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Harvey W. Holdiness, Jr.; her parents, Henry Thomas Jordan and Sara Dell Waddell Jordan; and two sisters, Ethel George and Velma Curtis.
She was survived by one daughter, Peggy Carroll of Mandeville; three sons, Henry Holdiness of West Monroe, Harvey W. Holdiness, III and wife Janet of West Monroe, and Jerry Holdiness of Monroe; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
