Delores was born Dec. 13, 1928, to William and Dovie Walden Carver. She attended Crawfordsville schools. She married Theron Max Miller on Jan. 13, 1945. He preceded her in death July 20, 1983.
She was retired from the Holiday Inn as a baker. She could always be found on Wednesday or Thursday playing bingo or euchre. She loved to crochet afghans, blankets and doilies for friends and family. She loved to bake for her family and was well known for her apple dumplings.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Donald Max Carver, Billie Carver, Delma Cox, Wayne Carver, Floyd Carver and Gloria carver; daughter Kimberly Lynn; and granddaughter Brenna.
She is survived by daughters, Joyce (Paul) Mercer, Jill (Mike) Shubert, Susie (Steve) Harbison, Nancy (Cody) Gibson; son Max (Lillian) Miller; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
Funeral services 2 Wednesday, October 10 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Vernon Dowell officiating.
Visitation noon until time of service.
