Emma Lay, 81, of 505 Warren St., Tremont, died yesterday (Feb. 7, 1986) at Hopedale Medical Complex.
Mrs. Lay was born March 7, 1904, a daughter of Jacob and Louise Beutel Knapp. She married William Lay on Jan. 21, 1925, at Pekin. He died Aug. 16, 1968.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Rowell, Tremont, Virginia Stevens, Camas, Wash., and Dorothy Graber, Minier; one brother, Ernest Knapp, Peoria; and one sister, Marie Reis, Pekin.
Two brothers preceded her in death.
Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens.
