Mr. Johnny Lee Hale , a member of Popular Hill Baptist Church in Watertown, TN, passed away at the age of 62, on Thursday, Oct. 23rd, at his home in Smithville, after a long battle with Leukemia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeffrey & Aubry Putty Hale. Sister & brother, Reba Faye Hale & Ray Hale.
Mr Hale is survived by the love of his life Jeannette Hale. 5 children, Robert Matthew Hale, Jennifer & Jimmy Smallwood, William & Becky Hale, Randy & Savannah Hale & Jimmy Hale & Turell Tidwell. 14 grandchildren, John & Gage Hale, Kirkland & Karson Smallwood, Dakota, Boomer, Helen, & S.J. Hale, Julissa, Emma Grace, C.J. & Brentley Hale & Karaline & Bradyn Hale.
2 brothers, Lonnie & Barbara Hale & P.I. & Janie Hale. Sister-in-law, Margaret Hale. Several nieces, nephews and special friends, Keith & Mary Lou Bennett also survive.
The Hale family would like to thank Avalon Hospice of Cookeville for the help & kindness they received & the loving care given to Mr. Hale during the last four months of his life.
Visitation for Mr. Hale will be Saturday, Oct. 25th from 10am-8pm at Love-Cantrell Funeral Home & on Sunday from 10am until the service time at 3pm. Bro. Ben Fuston will officiate & interment will follow at Eastern Gate Cemetery in Watertown. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations please be given to the funeral home to help with burial expenses.
