Bobby Hugh Myers, age 84 of Maryville, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016, at his home.

He was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church for over 50 years, where he served as a Deacon for 48 years. He retired from Pet Dairy after 22 years and from Home Beneficial Life Insurance Company after 20 years. In retirement, Bob continued to work for Lowe's Drugs and McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Iva Myers; brothers, Elmer, Albert and Luke; sisters, Mary Matlock, Clemmie Gregory, Velma Jones and Nola Cummings; grand-children, Daniel Scott Linkous and Railee Charlotte Bowers.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 64 years, Sylvia (Sullivan) Myers; daughters, Kay (Ron) Jarvis and Missy (Brad) Bowers; grandchildren, Seth Linkous, Spenser Jarvis, Gracie and Thomas Bowers; over 50 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Thursday at Madison Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Hodges officiating. Following the service, a gathering with friends and family will be in the Fellowship Hall of the Church.

The entombment will be private.
