Mrs. Sarah Wanell Ball Vellocido, 77, of Athens, died Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at her residence.
She was a member of the Market Street Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel, Athens, with Buc Chumbley officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Church of Christ Cemetery.
Wanell was born in Athens, AL, on December 14, 1940, the daughter of Phillip Noel Ball and Laura Thelma Brewer Ball.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Vellocido; eldest son, Tony; and sisters, Elaine Taylor and Betty Hasting.
She is survived by daughters, Lisa Schleusner and Pam Dolan; and son, Randy Vellocido; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and brother, Dany Ball.
