Tommy Allen Collins was born July 24, 1955. He passed from this life on October 4, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Jesse Collins. He is survived by his wife, Nancy of the home; one sister, Shirley Bohanon and husband, Gary; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tommy was one of the most outgoing persons you would ever meet. He never met a stranger and all who knew him loved him. He traveled the OKC metro system and if you wanted to know what was going on in the city all you had to do was ask Tommy. He was a faithful member of Crossroads Church, but also enjoyed visiting other churches when he could. He loved God and always wanted to be a blessing to others. Shortly before his death he made a commitment to buy a bicycle for a pastor in Rwanda, Africa. Tommy will be missed by family, friends and people who didn't know his name, but experienced his kindness.
Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at Crossroads Church, 8901 S. Shields, OKC.
Interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Oklahoma City, OK.
Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.
