Garlyn Bazen, 78, husband of Saundra Matthews Bazen, died Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at his residence after an illness.
Mr. Bazen was born on April 18, 1940 in Florence County, son of the late Gorie Liston Bazen and Lizzie Day Altman Bazen. He was a graduate of Kingstree High School and attended Williamsburg Technical College. Mr. Bazen was a member of New Prospect Free Will Baptist Church, Deacon and bus driver for the New Prospect Mustang Athletics.
Mr. Bazen was preceded in death by a sister, Eunia Bell Gaskins.
