Faustin was born on February 26, 1944 in Vaughn, NM to the late Juan de Dios and Melinda Anaya.
Faustin was an accomplished home builder for 38 years in the Santa Fé area. Faustin took great pride in his work, and enjoyed teaching his many employee’s thru the years. Faustin enjoyed spending time outdoors especially for hunting season. Faustin was a devoted Denver Broncos fan and enjoyed watching them play, even if they lost. Faustin was a devoted father and husband and will truly be missed by his family and his pets.
Faustin Anaya is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Ramona, his son, Marcos Anaya and daughter, Ramona (Ura) Lara III, four sisters, Mohr (Loretta) Anaya, Bertha (Richard) Chang Sr., Christine (Juan) Gurulé and Anna (Tim) Hughes, his favorite nephew, Richard (Diane )Chang Jr. and best friend/hunting partner, Alex Sisneros. Faustin is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at St Anne’s Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St Anne’s Catholic Church, 511 Alicia St., Santa Fé, NM.
