Marilyn Frontier Hughes
1931 - 2018

Early Life: Marilyn was born March 29, 1931, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Pierre Frontier and Myrtle Ivy Cameron Frontier. Marilyn was described as an "angel" by her father.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: In 1951, she married Jackson Hughes. They are the parents of seven children, 27 grandchildren, and 36 great-grandchildren. Marilyn has served valiantly in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for her entire life and found great joy and happiness in her service to the Lord and her family. She and Jack served three missions in the Philippines, Armenia, as well as Quincy, Illinois. Marilyn loved to be the "tour guide" to her many guests and family. She loved to paint in oils and watercolor. She loved to go for long walks and is well-known for her love of ice cream. Her greatest love and concern was always for her children and her family. She truly was a devoted and well-loved mother and grandmother, deeply touching all those she came into contact through her sweet, kind spirit. Marilyn Frontier Hughes, recently of Lindon, Utah, passed peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, September 30, 2018, surrounded by her husband, Jack, and their family.
Her last words were of love for her "Jack", her eternal companion.
Family Message: As her family, she will be deeply missed and we are all eternally grateful that we were privileged to call her "Mom" and "Grandma".
