Diann was a selfless giver with a firm sense of fairness, mercy and compassion. She channeled her energies into numerous church and civic organizations, including but not limited to the Order of the Brothers of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel (Carmelites), the Knights of St. Peter Claver Ladies of Auxiliary Court No. 63, Alphabettes of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Nu Theta Lambda Chapter, a Marriage Preparation Instructor for the Diocese of Lafayette, a member of the Saint Martin Parish Council on Aging, Saint Martin, Iberia, and Lafayette Community Action Agency, (SMILE Board Member), a faithful member of Saint Edward Roman Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, member of the Parish Council, chairperson of the Bereavement Committee and Associate Member of the Legion of Mary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph Pratt III and Lillie Gradney Pratt; one sister, Juanita Pratt Baldwin and one nephew, Carl S. Jolivette.
