Robert E. Branscom, 80, died at 10:25pm September 28, 2018, at Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.

He was born July 18, 1938, in Ross Co. to the late Lee R. and Lizzie (Nichols) Branscom. On October 31, 1955, he married the former Elizabeth A. Brown, who survives.

In addition to his wife, Liz, he is survived by their four children; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; two brothers; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved canine friends "Julie" and "Chevy". He was predeceased by his parents, a daughter Teresa Garrett; and a granddaughter Sharon Ann Tackett.

Bob worked as an electrician for Mead Paper, and the former RCA/Thompson Electronics. He enjoyed drag racing with his team "Confusion Racing." He also enjoyed attending flea markets and listening to blue grass music.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory with Chaplain Bruce Hines and Rev John Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Boblett Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
