Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Porter will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Terry Fant officiating. Interment in New Harmony Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 PM Monday, October 1, 2018 at John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services. Mrs. Porter, 90, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at her residence in Richland, MS. She retired after working 40 years at Sun-N-Sand as a waitress. Her hobbies include sewing, quilting, and flowers. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.

Parents, Jim Smith and Grady Hall Smith;

Husband, Gadis Reginald Porter;

Sisters, Marie Monroe, Carol McClean;

Brothers, Chandler Smith, Beck Smith and James Smith.

Sons, Terry G. Porter (Diane) of Florence, Randy G. Porter (Florence) of Richland;

Sister, Elizabeth Mortoff of Decatur, IN;

Brother, Willis J. (Bill) Smith of Decatur, IN;

(9) Grandchildren; (13) Great-Grandchildren; Many loved nieces and nephews.
