Graveside service for Mrs. Brenda Porter Anderson will be held at 3 PM Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at New Harmony Cemetery with Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. There will be no visitation. John E. Stephens Chapel in charge.
Mrs. Anderson, 66, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020 at her residence in Lumberton, MS. She lived in Rankin and Lamar Counties most of her life. She was a telephone operator. Gardening, flowers and painting was her hobbies. She was baptist by faith.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, Reginald Porter and Myrtle Smith Porter.
Survivors: Husband, Wayne Anderson of Lumberton; Daughter, Portland Plyler of Mantachie, MS; Son, Michael Murray of Raleigh; Stepdaughter, Jennifer Carney (Daniel) of Hattiesburg; Stepsons,Tal Anderson (Christy) of Sumrall, Micah Anderson of Mosselle and Jeffery Anderson of Colorado; Sister, Judy Fisher of TN; Brothers, Terry Porter (Diane) of Florence and Randy Porter (Florence) of Richland; (3) Grandchildren, Lexi Locke, Will Locke and Caitlyn Wallace; (8) Step-grandchildren; (2) Step-great-grandchildren.
