Paul William Hansen was born October 13, 1963 and died September 25, 2018 from complications due to diabetes.
He is preceded in death by father Leland Eugene Hansen, son David William Hansen and brother Leland Ross Hansen. He is survived by wife Eileen Bailey Hansen, son Michael Hansen, mother Naomi Hansen, sisters Linda Hansen and Judy (Saul) Ramos, sister-in-law Linda Hansen, many nieces, nephews, cousin, aunts and uncles.
Paul graduated from Bingham High School. He attended Utah Technical College (now Salt Lake Community College). He worked many years in Auto Parts for Ken Garff, Quality Ford, Murdock Hyundai and Car Max. Paul married Eileen Bailey on June 7, 1989. They had two sons, Michael and David.
Paul enjoyed camping, riding dirt bikes, riding Jeeps, boating and going to the family cabin. Paul also enjoyed classic cars. He had a 1968 442 Oldsmobile. Paul also liked science fiction, especially Star Trek, Star Wars, Lost in Space, Space 1999 and Battle Star Galactic.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 2 at 11:00 A.M. at the Whitewood Ward, 3555 W. 5620 S. Taylorsville, UT. A viewing will be held one hour prior to services at 10:00 A.M. and from 6-8 P.M. Monday, October 1 at the same location. Interment at the South Jordan Cemetery, 10650 S. 1055 W.
