Obituary-
After a long journey with many health issues along the way, Dennis Leon Jeppesen passed into the loving arms of his God in heaven on Tuesday, September 25, 2018. He was born to Vernal and Ruth Coleman Jeppesen on October 21, 1934 in Brigham City, Utah. After high school, Dennis proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He then attended San Jose State University for his undergraduate degree and went on to earn his Master's Degree in Business Administration at Utah State University. Upon completion of his college education, he worked for the Church of Latter Day Saints in Salt Lake City, Utah. Following that he worked for several companies as a HR recruiter. In 1974, he moved to Seattle and worked with the King County Library System as their Business and Facilities Manager. He retired from that position in 1995. Dennis loved travel and thoroughly enjoyed learning about different cultures and exploring various historical sites. Of the many countries he visited, England was his favorite. In addition to traveling, he had a special appreciation for every flight museum he visited. Hobbies he thoroughly enjoyed were sailing the beautiful Pacific Northwest waterways and gardening at their home in Magnolia. Later on in life, he fell in love with his Sammie (samoyed) girls named Sonoma, Jade & Tasha. The loss of Sonoma and Jade nearly broke his tender and loving heart. He was a kind and generous man who loved to tell stories about his many life experiences to everyone who was interested. He is survived by his beloved wife, Terry; his sister-in-law Toni Ingle (Brad Bowles); his brother-in-law, Link (Kathy) Finnson, nieces, Kasey Finnson and Taylor (Isaiah) Assink. He was an honorary uncle to Max and Heidi Reich, and to the Hilton kids (David, Anne, Benjamin, and Margaret). He is also leaving behind many special friends and dear cousins. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 1 at 11:30 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints - Magnolia.
