Funeral services for Mrs. Lorraine Yates 87, of Monticello, LA will be held at 11 AM Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the New Hope Baptist Church in Monticello, LA with Rev. Fred Hale officiating.
Visitation will be held at New Hope Baptist Church on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 5-8 PM.
Burial will be in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Delhi.
Mrs. Yates was a native of Franklin Parish, LA and was a long time resident of East Carroll Parish. She was a Farmer and Homemaker.
She is survived by seven children: Bobby Yates Jr. of Waverly, LA, Alice Rene Herrington & husband Daniel of Livingston, LA, Rufus Leonard Yates and wife Connie of New Iberia, LA,
Beverly Biggs of Lake Charles, LA, Phyliss Yates of Tyler, TX, Ricky Yates & wife Patricia of Crowville, LA and Tony Yates & wife Tina of Monticello, LA.
