Martha Ramirez Cruz, age 67, of Waco, passed away early Friday morning, September 21, 2018 at Crestview Court in Cedar Hill.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with Rev. Terry McElrath officiating.
Martha was born March 10, 1951 in West, the daughter of Gregorio and Rachel (Ortiz) Ramirez. She attended West High School. On September 18, 1965 she was united in marriage to Luis Cruz in Meridian. Luis preceded her in death on June 20, 1978. Martha was a member of St. Frances Catholic Church in Waco. She was a homemaker her entire life. Martha enjoyed cooking and working puzzles. She loved her pets and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Martha is also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Margarite Tarango, Pauline Holmes, Antonia Ramirez; and brothers, Bartolo Ramirez, Gregorio Ramirez, Jr., and Jessie Ramirez.
Survivors include her children, Rosemary Cruz and husband Kevin Stockton of Duncanville, Manuel Cruz of Sherman, and Luis Valero Cruz Jr. of Waco; sisters, Nancy Torrez and Simona Ramirez; grandchildren, Henry Salazar Jr., Kevin Stockton, Brett West Cruz, Yvette Salazar, Justice Stockton, Faith Stockton and Carissa Cruz; great-grandchildren, Destiny Bryant, Liliana Salazar, Destiny Garcia and Noah Sowels; her dog, Whiskey; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
