Queen “Liz” Elizabeth (Miller) Evans, 78, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 21, 2018 at her residence in Jay, OK.

Liz was born on December 9, 1939 in Southwest City, MO to her parents, Clell and Stella Mae Miller.

Liz married Tucson Evans, January 21, 1970. A graduate of Southwest City High School, Southwest City, MO. She loved spending time with her family and listening to Tucson play music. She worked as a CMA for over 20 years. She loved to travel, attend to her flowers and watching hummingbirds. Her grandbabies were her life.

Liz is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Tucson Evans; parents, Clell and Stella Mae Miller; 3 children, Charles Evans, Jacqueline Reed and Donnie Evans; 11 siblings.

She is survived by her 4 daughters, Elizabeth Pierot of Jay, Ok, Carla Evans of Jay, OK, Doris Evans of Decatur, AR, and Vicki Farine of Siloam Springs, AR; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth Ann; special friends, Larry and Joanne Sanders and their children of Disney, OK; extended family and friends.

Liz’s family visitation to greet friends will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK 74346. Liz’s Celebration Of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 10:00am, Mount Hermon Church, 18035 E. 420 Rd., Jay. OK 74346. Burial at Dickson Cemetery, Cherokee, AR. Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson’s Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK 74346
