Age 86 ~ passed away peacefully on Friday, September 21st. She is now in heaven with her beloved husband of 65 years, Duane, who passed away in December.

She was born and grew up on a farm in the Alexandria area of Minnesota with her brother and 4 sisters. After high school graduation she moved to St. Paul to advance her education and became a Certified Public Accountant. On October 11, 1952 she married Duane at St. Adalbert's Church in St. Paul. They made their home in Oakdale and were active volunteers in the church and community.

Millie and Duane had many camping trips with their daughter Linda and later many adventures with their granddaughters. Millie especially loved the mountains in Grand Teton National Park and Glacier National Park. They enjoyed many activities together such as bowling, golf, parties with friends, and many, many day trips to Wisconsin farm country.

Millie is survived by daughter Linda (Sheldon) Edd of Rochester, MN; granddaughters Kelly (Chad) Keith of Steamboat Springs, CO, Missy (Mike) Hughes of Minneapolis, MN, Shannon Edd (Thomas Roos) of Lutry, Switzerland; great grandson Gus Keith; and sister Patricia (Del) Dobler of Fargo, ND.

Memorial Mass Wednesday (9/26) at 11:00 AM at TRANSFIGURATION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 6133 15th Street N, Oakdale. Visitation 1 hour before Mass at church. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
