Born October 24, 1937, in Rutherford County, NC; daughter of the late Duley Roscoe Carswell (1902–1949) and Daisy Lee Bivens Carswell (1906–1992).
Those left to cherish his memory include her loving husband of thirty-five years, Larry Cook; two sons, Michael Jennings and Eddie Jennings; four grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Tonya Blanton; one grandson, Eddie Clint Jennings; daughter-in-law, Debbie Jennings; and all her siblings, Eulala Carswell Martin (1925–1991), Eula Jane Carswell Alexander (1927–1970), Sallie May Carswell (1928–1928), Viola Carswell Martin (1931–2006), Elijah Wilbur Carswell (1934–2003).
The funeral service was conducted at 1:0 pm, Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Rev. Sam Henderson officiating; interment at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
