He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Jean Murphy; sister, Ernestine Dollar and brother, Wallace Murphy.
He is survived by his companion, Shirley Stein; sons, Jimmy and Dennis of Plant City, Rodney of Florida; stepsons, Randall and Robert Tatum of Plant City; daughter, Sherry Fogleman of Indian Town, Fla; brothers, Wiley of Plant City and Clayton of Moultrie, Ga.; sisters, Eva Doucet of Lake Charles, La., Lucille Kilgore of Memphis, Tenn., Louise McMurphy and Geraldine Hasty; 10 grandchildren and six great- grandchildren.
Services will tak place at 10 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2007 in Haught Funeral Home with interment following in Mount Enon Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, at the funeral home.
