Edith White Eastman, 92, loving mother and grandmother, died June 26, 2000.
Born July 30, 1907 in Tooele, Utah to Joseph and Annie Elizabeth Tanner White. Married Holger Eklund; later divorced. Married George Homer Eastman on Nov. 13, 1934 in Tooele, Utah. He preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 1979. Edith was a member of the DUP, Glover Camp. She and her husband were members of the Salt Lake Motorcycle Club and enjoyed those activities together.
Survivors: daughter, Ruth Chambers, Hemet, California; son, Ray G. Eastman (Gwenda), Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and two great, great- grandchildren; sister, Alice Buckingham, Pinole, California. Preceded in death by son, Howard Ross Eastman, her brothers, sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 30, 2000 at 1 p.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State where friends may call Friday from 11:30 a.m. to time of services. Interment, Midvale City Cemetery.
