Larry was employed at J.C. Penney as a stock room and maintenance supervisor.
He loved golf, softball, bowling, fishing and camping.
Born September 10, 1951 in Columbus, Larry was the son of Elmer and Laura Mabel Hashman Greathouse.
He married Teresa Landreth in May of 1974 and she survives.
Other survivors include his daughters, Jennifer (J.T.) Hull of Hope and Stephanie (Eric) Blake of Hope; grandchildren, Nathaniel (Megan) Hull of Flat Rock and Daegan Hull of Hope; siblings, Ronald Greathouse of Columbus, Vera Collins of Elizabethtown, Janice (Henley) Simmons of Columbus, Becky Greathouse of Columbus and Retha Greathouse of Columbus.
Larry’s funeral will be Monday at 7 p.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with the Rev. Daniel Braggs officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Larry will be cremated and burial will be at a later date at Flat Rock Baptist Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be donated to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; a half brother, Jerry Crider, and a sister, Linda Carol Greathouse.
