Early Life: He was born October 3, 1937, to Ward and Grace Smith Wright. He was raised in Coalville, Utah where he attended North Summit High School.
Life’s Work | Service | Interests: On July 26, 1960, he married his sweetheart, Vera Dea Robinson. Ducker enjoyed working with his grandfather, Samuel Smith, on their family ranch in Elkhorn Canyon. In 1962, he and his wife purchased the ranch and moved the family there. He worked various positions in the oil and gas industry and in 2006, he retired from Geary Construction as a heavy equipment operator. He really enjoyed working with his "toys" and several of them followed him home. Ducker was an avid reader with an infectious laugh. He loved to go out dancing and touring with his buddies. He loved his dogs and they loved him. You never saw him without one or two of them riding around in the truck, on the 4-wheeler, or behind him anywhere he went. He spent many hours working on the ranch (aka: Duckerville) with his wife, kids and grandkids. He instilled in them his love of hunting, trapping and the outdoors.
