Yvonne Frances Wilson, 61, of East Peoria, a former nurse and Normal native, died at 4:50 a.m. yesterday (Aug. 19, 1991) at Saint Francis Medical Center.
Her funeral will be at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel, Peoria, with the Rev. Mark Henninger officiating. She will be cremated.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
She was born April 9, 1930, in Normal, a daughter of Ralph and Irene Meyer Hoover. She married William E. "Al" Wilson on May 19, 1956, in Peoria. He survives.
Other survivors include one son, Mark, East Peoria; one daughter, Julie Wilson, Washington; two foster grandchildren; two brothers, Gilbert Hoover, Bloomington, and Wilbert Hoover, Delavan; foster parents who reared her, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Osborn, San Diego, Calif.; and two foster sisters, Geraldine Meyer, Marcos Island, Fla., and Judy Dobrei, Rock Wall, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Mrs. Wilson was a registered nurse for more than 25 years at Saint Francis Medical Center, last working July 16.
She was a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University and Brokaw Hospital's school of nursing. She was a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
She attended Washington Presbyterian Church and was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, Bloomington.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
