Harold Baecker age 99 passed away Friday September 14, 2018 at Golden Years Care Facility. He was born on Four Mile Creek in Hamilton June 1, 1919 to the late George and Ella (nee Bowman) Baecker. In January of 1955 in Liberty, IN Harold married Nora Cupp who preceded him in death. He was a Sergeant in WWII and participated in the Battle of the Bulge. He was honorably discharged in 1945 and began working at Champion Paper until he retired in 1981.

Harold is survived by children Sherry Ann (Gene) Deitrick, Carl (Nina) Hacker, Mary Rose Whited, Phil Winkler, Michael (Beth) Baecker; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren and one brother Warren (Betty) Baecker. He was also preceded in death by a daughter Teri Winkler, brother Fred, sister Naomi, and son in law Bill Whited.

Visitation at Butler County Memorial Park Mausoleum chape. Burial to follow with full military honors. The Webster Funeral Home is serving the family.
