LUCEDALE - George C. Leggett, 84, of Rt. 4, Lucedale, died unexpectedly Sunday at his residence. Funeral services were held 10 a.m. today at the Rocky
Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Ripley Camons of Lucedale. Burial was in the Zion Rest Cemetery of Wayne County with Fails Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. A Wayne County native, Leggett made his home in the Rocky Creek community of George County 35 years. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include five sons: A. M. Leggett, Clifton Leggett, Curtis Leggett, all of Lucedale; I. W. Leggett. Oxford: George C. Leggett, Jr., Laurel; two daughters: Mrs. D. M. Rustin, Miss Florence Leggett, both of Lucedale; one brother: J. A. Leggett, Sylvania, Ga.; 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren
