Mrs. Ann Heppenstall.
The above named died at the residence of her sister, Mrs. Mary Cannon, at 803 West Washington street, at 10 a. m. Friday morning, in her 89th year. Funeral services were held at 10 a. m. Sunday at the late residence, interment in the old cemetery.
Deceased was born in Culpeper county, Va., in 1812, her maiden name being Garrett. She came to this state in 1834 and settled in this city, where she had since resided. Her death was caused by bronchitis, from which she had been ill about two weeks, but she had been in poor health for over a year. She leaves two sisters, the one at whose residence she died and Miss Jerusha Garrett.
