Bloomington Herald Telephone, 5/1/1952:

Mrs. Lena Stidd, 65, wife of Charles T. Stidd, 1212 W. 6th St., died Wednesday, at the Bloomington hospital.
Funeral services will be held Friday, at 3 p.m., in the East Side Nazarene church, with Rev. Roy Vaughn officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memorial Park.
Survivors besides her husband, include one daughter, Mrs. Noble Mitchell, Clear Creek; two sons, Lawton Wilkerson, Smithville, and Herschel Wilkerson of Morgantown; a brother, Daniel Arwine of Illinois, and four sisters, Mrs. Mary Fulks, Downs, Ill., Mrs. Ann Moore, Indianapolis, Mrs. Belle Thickson, New Unionville and Mrs. Sally Wilkerson, Helmsburg, and seven grandchildren.
Also surviving are four step-sons, Lester, Farrell, Leon, and Ben Stidd, all of Bloomington and five step-daughters Mrs. John Bridges, Mrs. Freida Baynes, and Mrs. Velta Hall, of Bloomington, Mrs. Martha Collins, Indianapolis and Mrs. Jenny Name of Elletsville.
Pallbearers will be Lester Stidd, Leon Stidd, James Wilkerson, Winnifred Wilkerson, Garnet Wilkerson, and Lloyd Hedrick.
The body remains at the residence until time for the funeral.
Mrs. Stidd was a member of the Elkinsville Methodist church.
