Mrs. Peggy Davis Caldwell, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 in Memphis, Tennessee; she was 76.
Peggy was born in Newport, Arkansas on April 25, 1942 to the late Richard Joseph Joe Davis and Anita Humphries Davis. In 1960 Peggy married Jerry Caldwell. In addition to raising two children, Peggy also helped establish Caldwell Lumber Company, Caldwell Grocery at Harold's Corner and sewed as supplemental income. She loved to garden and spend time with her family.
Survivors are her son, Alan Caldwell and wife Bonnie of Madison, Alabama, daughter, Becky Fisher and husband Tim of Wynne, brother, Richard Davis and wife Susan of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, Jim Davis and wife Brenda of Beebe, Arkansas, Lindley Joe Davis of Burnham-on-Crouch, UK, Jeff Davis and wife Rachel of Edgewood, New Mexico, sister, Margee Castleberry and husband Rick of Jonesboro, Arkansas, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 6 to 8 PM at Fitzgerald Crossing Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at 10 AM at Fitzgerald Crossing Baptist Church with burial in Crosslawn Cemetery, Rev. Stewart Brooks will officiate.
