. Mrs. George (Mattie A.) Basler, 90, longtime resident of the Toppenish and Granger areas died, Friday in Des Moines Convalescent home.
. She was born in Chanute, Kansas. she and her husband, George Basler, operated a hotel in Toppenish for several years before moving to Spokane. They moved to Granger in 1954. Later she moved to Seattle.
. Survivors include sons, Max (Pete) Basler, Oakesville, and Rober, McCleary; daughters, Jessie Coder, Granger; Veran Knutson and Ruby Bledsoe, both Seattle; Velma Burke, Ocean Shores; Thelma Baker, Garfield and Mary Jane Cox, Las Vegas. N.M.; 29 grandchildren and several great and great-great grandchildren and brother Len Fletcher, Jennings, Okla.
. Services with the Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, Burial in Lower Valley Memorial Gardens.
