Early Life: Rayma was born May 25, 1935, in Neola, Utah, to Henry LaGrand “Bill” and Zora McCormick Gardner.
Life’s Work | Service | Interests: Rayma owned and operated a number of jewelry stores in Utah and surrounding states for a number of years. She had a good sense of business and understood the financial bookwork and figures to be successful. She enjoyed growing a vegetable and flower garden, camping, and hunting with family, going to yard sales. She also loved antiques and collecting them. Rayma M. Gardner, of Vernal, Utah, died August 29, 2011, at the Uintah Basin Medical Center after a long illness. She was 76.
Survived By: Two sons and a daughter: Steven Allen Sprouse, Shelly (Larry) Massey, both of Vernal; and Jon (Felicia) Gardner, Hurricane; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; brother, Howard (JaNeil) Gardner, Vernal; and sister, Marjorie Harrison, Orem.
