Jean Skoff DeCroo, 78, of Natrona Heights, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2006, in the Alle-Kiski Medical Center, Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights.
She was born May 1, 1928, in Harmar Township, the daughter of the late Jack and Jennie Povhe Skoff.
Jean was a secretary for many years, retiring from the former Gulf Research in Harmarville.
She enjoyed her dogs, flower gardening and playing bridge.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Richard C. DeCroo; son, Richard DeCroo and his wife Teresa, of Buffalo Township; daughters, Jackie DeCroo and her husband Robert Rabel, of Lexington, Ky., Susan DeCroo and Nancy Evanoff, both of Oakmont; three grandchildren, Danielle and Erik DeCroo and Christopher Rabel; brother, Jack Skoff, of Cheswick; and dear friends, Dolly Persun, Diane Papaila, and the Dave Pakulski Family.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Art Skoff.
Funeral services were held Monday in the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME, Natrona Heights, with the Rev. Harold Mele officiating.
Burial was in Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar Township.
