Graveside services for Maud resident Jimmie Norris are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Charley Troglin officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by Swearingen Funeral Home.

Norris died at Sunset Estates Nursing Home in Maud Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, at the age of 70.

Norris was born Aug. 12, 1934 in Seminole to Anna (Tate) Norris.

On Feb. 14, 1955, he married Mayme Louise (Hargis) Norris in Seminole. She preceded him in death Nov. 27, 2001.

Norris had retired from running his own tank truck service.

His parents and his wife preceded him in death.

Norris is survived by his son, Jim Norris Jr. of Oklahoma City; four daughters, Mary Frances of Okmulgee, Tonya Breshears of Woodward, Debbra Norris of Seattle, Wash. and Sandra Johnson of Frankfort, Ky.; one brother, Willy Norris of Bartesville; one sister, Anita Stinett of Henryetta and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
