Obituary for William Paul Andreas

Waterloo - William Paul Andreas, 69, of 38 E. River St., died Thursday (February 14, 2013) at Geneva General Hospital.
Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Sunday (Feb. 17) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. Military rites will be performed by Waterloo Memorial Post 6433, V.F.W. and Warner Van Riper Post 435, American Legion at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday (Feb. 18) at the funeral home. Rev. Leah Ntuala, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Seneca Falls, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beverly Animal Shelter, 50 E. River St., Waterloo, 13165.
William was born Sept. 19, 1943 in Geneva, the son of Bruno O. and Margaret L. Schefler Andreas. He was a 1963 graduate of Waterloo High School. After graduation he enlisted into the U.S. Army, serving 1963 to 1966. Returning from serving his country, he was employed with Evans Chemetics, retiring after many years of employment. He was a member of the Finger Lakes Moose Club 823. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In his younger years, he attended the First Presbyterian Church of Waterloo.
He is survived by sisters, Linda Davoli and Ruth Arno both of Seneca Falls, and Eleanor (Jeffrey) Hudd of Amherst; brothers, James Andreas of Waterloo, Walter Andreas of Amarillo, TX and Robert (Linda) Andreas of La Follette, Tenn.; half-brothers, Richard (Frances) Pollard of SC and Orval (June) Pollard of Tenn; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother, Charles Andreas.
