Kathryn Pfeffer Moran, 69, of El Campo, passed away September 1, 2018. She was born on September 11, 1948 in El Campo to Lee and Mary Helen Wakefield Pfeffer.
Kathryn graduated from El Campo High School in 1967 and attended Wharton County Junior College. She worked at Texas Rehabilitation Commission and retired from American Water Works. She was a lifelong member of El Campo Church of Christ where she served her church family in numerous roles. Kathryn enjoyed spending time with her family and church family. She loved her grandkids. She enjoyed traveling, camping and spending time at deer camp. She also liked gardening and working in the yard.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Eunice Pfeffer; sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Bob Bounds; brother-in-law, Lloyd Lay and sister-in-law, Peggy Moran.
Visitation begins 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 5 at Triska Funeral Home with family receiving visitors from 5-7 p.m. Funeral services begin 10 a.m. Thursday, September 6 at El Campo Church of Christ with John McCord officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.
