Lucy Jane Brown was born on September 5, 1949 in Lawton Ok to Lewis Brown, and Opal Welch. Lucy was the oldest of 6 children three sisters Janette Brooks, Huldah Ridgeway, and Valarie Drake. Two brothers Lewis Jarvis Brown, and Timothy Drake (deceased). Lucy attended Capitol Hill high school, after graduation Lucy married Richard Allen Knight Jr. and became a mother to 3 children whom she adored, and spoiled. She later divorced and married James Field. Lucy enjoyed life, and lived each day with a smile on her face. She loved morning posts on Facebook, and playing words with friends. Lucy was an experienced seamstress, and had often mended things for everyone in the family. She loved the simple things in life like bowling, thrift stores and garage sales…and she always always found something for someone. Lucy loved her children and grandchildren deeply. Spending time or taking trips with them we always a given.

Lucy is preceded in death by father, Lewis Valley Brown; mother, Opal Beatrice Drake; brother, Timothy Drake; granddaughter, Jasmine Knight; great-granddaughter, Emma Knox; and husband, James Field.

She is survived by daughter, Shelly Knox and husband Jackie of Tryon, OK; son, Joseph Knight and wife Sara of Virginia; daughter, Leisha Knight and partner William Hall of Edmond; grandchildren: Jackie Knox Jr., Dawn Knox, Houston Knight, Ethan Knight, Mason Knight, and Taylor McClung; and six great-grandchildren.

Lucy will be sorely missed by everyone that knew and loved her.
