Mrs. Jennie Van Duinen (Hamstra), age 86, of Grandville, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 1983. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, a son Enos, and a grandson, Doug Van Duinen.
Surviving are her chldren, William and Myrtle Vander Laan of Grandville, Dennis and Gertrude Slikkers of Holland, Jay and Lorraine Van Duinen of Jenison, Claude and Eleanor Van Duinen of Grandville, Donald and Cathy Van Duinen of Berrien Springs, and Ken and Ella Davis of Port Charlotte, Fla; her daughter in law, Mrs. Enos (Esther) Van Duinen of Grand Blanc; 19 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren; five brothers, Jake, Joe, John, Ted and Gerrit Hamstra; two sisters, Mrs. Hyko (Agnes) De Wind and Mrs. Peter (Bertha) De Wind; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Van Duinen will be held Friday 11 am at the funeral chapel, with Pastor Bruce Fox of the Central Seventh Day Adventist Church officiating. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park.
Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday and Thursday 7 to 9 pm at the Posthumus and Matthysse Funeral Home, Chapel of the Fountain, 4145 Chicago Dr. SW Grandville.
