Joseph Brandt (66) passed away August 31, 2018 at his home in Marengo, Iowa.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday September 5, 2018 at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories starting at 11 am. A visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 5-7 at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home.
Joseph David Brandt was born September 22, 1951 in Waverly, Iowa to Roy and Dawn Brandt.
He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1971.
Joe worked as an auto mechanic for all of his life.
On January 4, 1997 Joe married Mary Wohlert at the Concordian Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Joe and Mary enjoyed many happy years together fishing, camping, and spending time with their family. Joe also volunteered his time mowing the 4-H grounds.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial donations may be directed to the family.
