Jeanette Sue Brooks Portwood, 71, of Sevierville passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018. She was a member of New Center Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Leota Holt; father, Dwight Allen; and grandson, Joshua Lewis.
Jeanette is survived by her husband, John Portwood; son, Charles Brooks, Jr.; daughters, Dorothy Phillips and husband, B.J., Charlotte Ivey and husband, Shannon; grandchildren, Whitney Phillips, Valyn Richmond, Tiffany Baker; step-granddaughter, Kandra Ivey; mother, Ester Mayfield; brothers and sisters-in law, William and Kathy Mayfield, Doyle and Brenda Mayfield, Joe and Tammy Mayfield; sister, Carolyn Lewis; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Family and friends will meet 1 PM Wednesday at Cummings Chapel Cemetery for interment.
