Shirley Ann Brown Heaps Will Be Missed.

Shirley Ann Brown Heaps, 73, of Alpine, died Thursday, January 23, 2003. She was born March 26, 1929 in Alpine to Ina Verl and Adin Heber Brown. She married Elmer Dwayne Heaps, December 15, 1947. They were sealed for time and all eternity December 5, 1951 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Elmer died April 16, 2002.

She was an active member of the LDS Church. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and riding horses. Her family and friends will remember her determination to endure her health problems these last 26 years; she fought long and hard.

She is survived by her children Connie (James) Maland, Provo; Thomas D. (Susan M.) Heaps, Alpine; Adin (Susan L.) Heaps, Alpine, Joseph (Boni) Heaps, Santaquin; Mark (Mandy) Heaps, Sandy; one sister, Ina Mae Brown Roylance, Orem; 25 grand-children and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday, January 30 at 1:00 p.m. in the Alpine 5th Ward, 98 E. Canyon Crest Rd. Friends may call Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E. 100 N., American Fork; and Thursday at the church from 11:15 to 12:45 p.m. Burial, Alpine City Cemetery.
