Lisa A. (Cauley) Adams, 56, of West Lafayette, went to be with the Lord at 2:52 PM on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Franciscan Health St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette.
She was born on September 27, 1961 in Belzoni, MS to Ed Cauley and the late Julia Cauley. She graduated from High School in Pascagoula, MS and attended one year at Southeastern Baptist College in Laurel, MS before completing her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing at Lakeville School of Nursing in Danville, IL. Lisa was dedicated to nursing and worked her way up from LPN to RN and eventually received her Master of Science in Health Administration from Ohio University. She most recently worked at St. Elizabeth East as the Quality Control Director.
Lisa married John G. Adams, MD on March 6, 2004 in Danville, IL. He survives. She was a member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in West Lafayette where she enjoyed volunteering and was happy to arrange the Usher’s Schedule. Lisa also enjoyed painting and doing crafts. She was a dedicated mother and wife who cherished the time spent with her children and family.
She is survived by her husband; father; one son; two brothers; and one sister. Lisa was preceded in death by her mother and her daughter, Rebecca Stiner.
