Yokahoma, Japan - 1st Lt. Louis J. Fulop, of Woodville, Ohio heads one of the most honored Army details in the Far East.
A troop movement officer at the 2d Transportation Major Port, Fulop is in charge of the honor guard which embarks United Nations' war dead aboard troopships. The ceremony his 12-man guard duty performs is simple and reverent with its dignity and quiet solemnity.
Fulop's wife, Helen, and children live in Woodville, Ohio, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Fulop, reside on Whittemore street, Toledo.
He was recalled to active duty in September 1950.
