She was a high school basketball star, and, a tap dancer.
The oldest of seven girls, Jean was a wonderful mother who made every holiday, every birthday, special. Before becoming a wife and mother, she was a nurse, which is how she met dad.
She worked at East Side Hospital (Oak St., Toledo, OH, a training school for nurses) and met my father while eating at his work place (the original Tony Packo's, Front St.). Her nursing career lasted five years and then they married.
