Sara was born in Yurecuaro, Michoacan and lived in Laredo most of her adult life. She was a devoted, loving, and exemplary wife, mother, and grandmother. Sara and her loving husband, Amador were blessed with a 60 year marriage. Sara was a woman of high integrity to whom God and family were most important.
Sara was always a devout, faithful Catholic and at one time was a member of the Altar Society of Saint Vincent de Paul church. She was also very blessed and happy to be an Agustinian.
She is preceded in death by her mother Petrita Rodriguez and sisters Maria De Jesus Barragan and Carmen Rodriguez.
The family will be receiving condolences on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 5 to 9 p.m.at Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services, 1410 Jacaman Rd.; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday morning, August 28, departing at 8:30 a.m. from Joe Jackson North Funeral Chapel to San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m.
Rite of Committal and Interment will immediately follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery
